We have been infusing gin with kumquats for our Mind The Gap cocktail since 2016 (this is the cocktail we serve in the Big Ben money box) and this was the inspiration for distilling our own gin. Everyone else is doing it, so why not! Although, as far as we know, ours is the only gin infused with Kumquats as the main ingredient.
When the opportunity came to make our own gin with Bimber Distillery, it was an easy decision. We are now serving the Mind the Gap cocktail with our very own gin.

Purl London Dry Gin is a classic gin with botanicals including junipers, orris root, angelica root, coriander seeds and of course, kumquats. The recipe was designed by our Manager, Lukas Stafin who says “it’s perfect for cocktails with a fresh, crisp and smooth finish”.

We don’t retail yet however, this will be something that happens later in the year.
